special 10th wedding anniversary trip for us that we will remember forever.

From the start of our 36 hour journey from Dallas (3 flights & a boat), our experiences were consistently exceptional.

Miriam made sure our flights were coordinated with enough time for us to navigate the airports during the government shutdown. We had access to the lounges during longer layovers which was more comfortable than sitting around in the airport. All the flight and boat transfers were seamless.

We were greeted by the transport companies with flower lei’s, and cold drinks…we never handled our own luggage from the Tahiti airport….they were already in our villa when we arrived at the resort."

"The villa was beautifully decorated with FRESH flowers throughout, champagne, anniversary desert, and a romantic gift basket for us to enjoy. Miriam even thought to leave us a personalized note with anniversary wishes…..which demonstrated for us her commitment to making sure every little detail was covered. The over-water bungalow with the view of Mount Otemanu was worth every dollar spent on this trip. The views of the mountain and the water, in different hues of blue, along with the serene peace that accompanied will be etched in our minds forever."

"The resort was beautifully designed with lush green trees and flower gardens. It was pristine at all times. It had a smell of fresh lavender & vanilla (which is one of the main agricultural products of this region) all over. The gym was spacious with a variety of equipment to get in a great workout. It even had a step machine! The spa was exceptional as well. We booked a couple’s experience which included use of the couples massage room, the heavenly rain showers where we had the option of selecting our “scent preference” (lavender, citrus, eucalyptus, etc.) during our shower, the relaxation rooms with our selected scent, the steam & dry sauna rooms, and the chlorine pool (all the other pools were salt water pools)."

"We participated in many other activities the resort offered throughout our stay: paddle boarding, ATV’s, Jet Skis, flower crown & sea shell craft classes, bike riding, etc. We took an ATV tour where we rode around the entire main island. We made several stops to take in the amazing views from the tops of Mount Otemanu.

We stopped by the grocery store for a few snacks and connected with the locals and the cutie pie kiddos! Our tour guide also provided us delicious coconut cake made by his aunt."

"The food was amazing too! The resort had different themed dinners each night offering a variety of cultural foods that were Asian, French & Polynesian, Mexican, and traditional American inspired.  On the Thursday night of our trip, the resort performed the Polynesian Dinner Show where the locals displayed their authentic Polynesian heritage through dance, song, and food.  I participated in the ladies group dance which was a lot of fun…..and the FOOD this night was the best of all the themed nights!"

"Miriam arranged for us to capture this 10th Anniversary celebration with a photo shoot. She coordinated with the resort concierge and arranged someone to do my makeup, ordered the flowers, and scheduled the photographer.  Our photos came out perfect! The picture downloads were included in the price. This way we can save our favorite pics to our phones for texting and posting to SM. We also have the option of purchasing finished high resolution prints for framing, and memory books. Again, memories we will have forever!"
